Father O'Malley's Medley

Father O'Malley's Medley with Fade Out

This is a song with a bunch of themes all mushed together into one song. Father O'Malley's singing it. If you fancy the "bears" theme in it, that's a re-visitation of a song I recorded on November 21 of 2020.

I wish it didn't fade out as soon as it does, but I layered the rap on top of singing at the end, and it sounded like shit, so I faded it out before it got to that part.

In addition to being a character in this album, Father O'Malley makes appearances in my comic books and graphic novels. He plays the upright bass in those narratives. Here I am, playin' my electric bass alongside Father O'Malley playing his upright bass in the picture.

The lyrics are:

When she speaks, I might cry cuz I know just how she died
I am freaked, but I'll try to show her I'm on her side
I'm a priest and a man who's a tad unorthodox
Singing feasts in the land with some bears and purple rocks

Bears – I used to be afraid – bears, I used to be afraid

Bears tell me that they'll bring the warm-dreams
Bears – tell me that they are on my team

Bears – I used to be afraid – bears, I used to be afraid

When she speaks, I might cry cuz I know just how she died
I am freaked, but I'll try to show her I'm on her side
I'm a priest and a man who's a tad unorthodox
Singing feasts in the land with some bears and purple rocks

I am Father O'Malley, inside a valley, with my old pals, see?
And the girl has a malady, big as a galaxy, that's not a fallacy
This is a form of praying, that's what I'm stating, with the Bear Nation
And you might just be saying my song is grating, but just have patience

When she speaks, I might cry cuz I know just how she died
I am freaked, but I'll try to show her I'm on her side
I'm a priest and a man who's a tad unorthodox
Singing feasts in the land with some bears and purple rocks

I wish I could take it back, I wish I could take it back
I I will always love you, always love you, always love you, you, you, you, you

Here's the alternative player-thingy just in case the one up top doesn't work:
