My Response to Roe v. Wade Being Overturned

Burn in Hell

 I'm madder'n a wet hen.

I Think It's a Good Thing

This is the next song in the possession album - the girl finally makes a big reveal of sorts.

The lyrics are:

You may need a beer after you guys hear what I'm about to say

Wait for it...you are in for a surprise / Brace yourselves...I can not believe my eyes
Hang onto your hats this is what I see / Fasten your seat belts – looking back at me
Is something I'll tell you about / It's not a dumb thing...I will let it out
I see the suspense in your eyes / I won't freak you out .. at least I'll try

You may need a beer after you guys hear what I'm about to say

I can talk to this flame – I can talk to fire / It even has a name – I think I acquired
An ability to talk to ….flames / out of the blue … this aptitude came
You may need a beer after I tell you this / But it's an announcement you won't want to miss
I was looking at the lighter flame / I heard some one and I'll tell you his name

But, I'll tell you this: I think it's a good thing

It is the fire god and he can talk to me / Through this fire, so hot, and I can plainly see
That his intentions are...very nice / My comprehension starts to get clear as ice
I have a newfound ability / To talk to those who live in Fire God City
When we were tokin' with fire that's smokin' / I heard words spoken that are thought provokin'

But, I'll tell you this: I think it's a good thing

It is the fire god and he can talk to me / Through this fire, so hot, and I can plainly see
When we are tokin' with fire that's smokin' / I hear words spoken that are thought provokin'

Bye Bye Bye

This is a song about not wanting to say goodbye but havin' to because of havin' to go far away. It's a real-life-thing happening to me in real-life, right now. I'm actually mostly happy about it, but part of me is sad. The sad part of me is singing the song.

I'll Tell Them Anyway

Tell Them

This is the next very-short song in the possession album. The girl decides to tell her friends what's going on inside her noggin.

The lyrics are:
I know they won't think I'm mad
After the time we all had
Still, it's strange to tell them what I see
But I'll tell them, anyway

Here's the other little player thingy, in case you need it:

I Don't Know How to Sing Anymore

I was tryin' to warm up my voice for another song, when this little ditty popped out. It's a short one.

Millions of Suns in the Universe

Millions of Suns

Here's another rap song for ya...it's a song about the universe's indifference to us lowly humans.

The lyrics are:

Millions of suns in the universe are
Burning and I'll tell you in this verse:
None of them care about us – they don't care
None of them care about us – they don't care

What is this song about? You may wanna know
I did not know what it was about, cuz my mind was slow
On the day I wrote it, I was so confused – don't wanna stay in these shitty and darker moods
My mind was depressed and distressed, and I'll stress the point, and I must confess
It was a dark day, and I'll say, felt like I lost my way – I was feeling grey

Millions of suns in the universe are
Burning and I'll tell you in this verse:
And now you'll know, and I'll make you aware
None of them care about us – they don't care

It took me a while to figure it out / I could not see what I should make this song about
There were themes I thought of, but they did not / really seem as dark as what I did want
It could be about our insignificance compared to the rest of the universe
I'm getting warmer, but it's still not as dark as I want it to be in this verse

Millions of suns in the universe are
Burning and I'll tell you in this verse:
None of them care about us – they don't care
None of them care about us – they don't care

Then I realized what this song's about / In this dumb life is something that makes me pout
It is a thing called … indifference / That the universe shows us, in a sense
We are not god-like; we have never been that / No more than dust-mites...we're lowly as rats
And the suns, burning, and the planets, turning / Don't care about us...my stomach's churning
With a constant state of anxiety / Why can't the universe be nice to me?
I guess that it is not that mean / But I sure wish that it was on my team

Here's the little player thingy I always stick at the bottom:

She's Like a Little Kitty

She's Like a Little Kitty

This is the next song in the possession album - the girl suddenly looks stoked, as stoked as a cat with a treat or catnip or something.

The lyrics are:
She's like a little kitty who has found some new treats
Things look like they're not shitty: Her happiness increased

Her smile is as wide as a mile
Meanwhile we are trying to get dialed
Into what her mental state is
It's true that we're not really wizards
At telling mental states apart from other mental states
But lately, it seems like she's greatly hating not her present fate

She's like a little kitty who has found some new treats
Things look like they're not shitty: Her happiness increased

Her smile's like Cheshire cat's, so fat and happy from catching rats
She's almost giddy- we read the room
She's like a kitty who wants to zoom
Around the place - like she has had really good catnip
We'll give her space to come to us and tell us about the trip she's on

She's like a little kitty who has found some new treats
Things look like they're not shitty: Her happiness increased

Here's the little player thingy that goes at the bottom:

When The Water Comes Back On

The water went out in my building a few months ago - it does that every now and then. Once it was a sinkhole nearby, and another times, it was a broken water main. When the water comes back on, the whole building explodes with gurgling sounds; it sounds like the building is alive with bubbling, gurgling, burbling sounds. It's always a little scary, but then the water comes back on and it's like, "yay."

Here're the lyrics:

The whole building shakes with a bubbling, bilious sound

My place had a water outage
I hates that - it made me pout – Fudge!!
A few months ago, water did not flow
And I said, “oh, no:” Homer would say, “Doh!”
Where'd the water go???
No water was in my building
I was not sure when I'll be filling
Up my toilet tank, and I will be frank – my poor heart sank
The opposite of dank: My faucets were blank

When the water comes back on
When the water comes back on
The whole building shakes with a bubbling, bilious sound

It was a broken water main
A ways away; that's what I'm sayin'
It ruined my day; how long will I stay
In water-less ways? And I am dismayed – water's what I crave
At 2 AM, I was praying
When water came in, I said, “Amen”
It came with a sound, it was all around
At first, I frowned – coming from the ground, growling like a hound

When the water comes back on
When the water comes back on
The whole building shakes with a bubbling, bilious sound

The building sounded like a monster
Would it explode? I was not sure
Gurgling in the walls, filling up the halls,

It sounded like calls from a monster-ball – and I was all
Apprehensive, with all the bubbling
These sounds were ever so troubling
But the noises stopped, and I felt on top of the world when drops
Came out of the faucet – the water plopped

When the water comes back on
When the water comes back on
The whole building shakes with a bubbling, bilious sound

The water is dripping and dropping
From the faucets, and it is plopping
And I can say it is the best thing
This water is surely a blessing

Is This Real

My crappy voice issues continue to plague me. This 2 month long allergy attack (or whatever this is) is getting on my nerves. But here's the next possession album song. The girl is trying to figure out whether the thing she's seein' is real or not.

The lyrics are:
This is something that is mighty surprising
Wait a sec - is this real?
I don't know what this is is, but it seems inviting
Wait, is this real?

Is this real?

Here's the other little player thingy:
