Parasitic Host

PARAHOST
Here's the next song in Timmy and Bobby Album #3. See, I initially did a Timmy and Bobby album back in 2009. Then I did the next one over the last few months. This is the third one. As I mentioned last week, I'm challenging myself to write a rock opera thingy that doesn't need a libretto. In other words, I'm hoping to tell a story in such a manner that the listener only needs to rely on the songs and not have a bunch of extra explanation in order to know what's going on.

But, as usual, I'm a fan of writing, so I'll say what this song is about, anyway. The main character is me, and while last week's song was sung from Timmy and Bobby's point of view. They went over to my house and I was acting weird. In this song, it's the same set of events, but from my point of view. This album is about demon or spirit possession. Or maybe some other kind of possession. It's about possession, yes it is.

The lyrics are:
My thoughts feel like I'm thinking
In somebody else's head
Listening to songs singing
From the Land of the Dead

Am I who I say I am, or am I just a ghost?
At the most, I might just be a parasitic host

I am getting the feeling
That my thoughts are not mine
Spirits sit on my ceiling
Singing backwards in time

Am I who I say I am, or am I just a ghost?
At the most, I might just be a parasitic host

My friends came over here
They brought some Clover Beer
They said it is a brand that they just heard about
It is fine, it is dandy, and it tastes like stout
Then they saw the look in my eyes
Something was wrong, and they cried
At the end of the evening, I was gone
And my friends said they would call me later on

I am getting the feeling that my brain is on fire
Someone's stealing my thinking, and it is getting dire

Timmy and Bobby are nice
They are the guys that I like
They know that something is wrong
My face shows my mind's getting gone
Timmy and Bobby are scared
They said they would call me cuz they care
They said they would call me later on
They are scared my mind is getting gone

Am I who I say I am, or am I just a ghost?
At the most, I might just be a parasitic host

Here's another player-thingy just in case the one above is incompatible with your portable electronic device. (The one at the top work on my phone, but this one is really slow on it. This one works on my computer and my iPad, though.)
