Aliens and Stuff
Yeah, man, it's funny, cuz the song I had intended to record last weekend was also about outer space ("Radioactive Space Gum"). I'm gonna record that one soon, but I dunno when. I'm sort of on an alien-spaceship-space-theme kick right now, so I'm just sort of rollin' with it. I feel sort of like an alien right now, so I think that's why; havin' just moved to a new place can make you feel like an alien. That's what I think, anyway.

hey speaking of instrumentation how do you go about recording your songs? that came to mind when listening to the recent song you put up. do you record it all live, or do you layer in each instrument at a time (or neither)?

Yeah, I record with a Boss Br-8 digital 8 track recorder. It records onto zip disks. Generally, I do everything one track at a time, but sometimes I'll sing and play guitar at the same time.

Yeah, man. I think we both went on alien-kicks independently at the same time, but I'm trying to remember if mine started before or after I noticed Sharon was on an alien kick. Hmmmmm.
