Poor and Sick

Poor and Sick Mix 3

Here's the longer version of the demo song I posted last night. It's about how much insurance companies suck. They really suck. We're giving our money to these heartless corporations that don't care about anything but making money, so of course they're going to deny claims for life saving procedures. They don't care if we die! They don't care if we go to the poor house because of medical bills!

People in the future, people a thousand years from now, will look back at this time period and think, "How strange. Why would people do such a dumb thing?" Why do we ask heartless greedy assholes to hold our money for us and then give it back to us when we need it for medical procedures? Why, indeed? Oh, yeah, I forgot: We do this dumb thing because there is no other option.

The lyrics are:

Poor and sick, poor and sick
Insurance companies keep us poor and sick
They don't want to pay for our medical bills
Because they are a bunch of pricks...EVERYBODY

A thousand years in the future
They'll look back at us
They'll probably say, “oh dear,”
“What the fuck?”

They won't pay to fix your health
Instead they say, “Just go to Hell”
Even though it is their job
They say, “fuck you,” and “you've been robbed”

A thousand years in the future
They'll look back at us
They'll probably say, “oh dear,”
“What the fuck?”

We pay those insurance companies
Good money to help if there comes a need
But if we get cancer, they'll say, “fuck you,”
“That is our answer, and you're dumb, too.”
“Why did you trust us to pay you back?”
“You're stupider than dirt, and you've been had
“It is not medically necessary”
And those insurances, they say, “spare me.
“Even though this treatment keeps you alive
“You are just a dumb human, clogging up the hive
“It's fine if you die
“We don't care if you die
“Just go ahead and die
“We would like you to die”

Poor and sick, poor and sick
Insurance companies keep us poor and sick
They don't want to pay for our medical bills
Because they are a bunch of pricks

Here's the alternative player thingy, just in case the one up top is incompatible with your portable electronic device, laptop, or desktop computer:
