I saw my cat looking spooked, and the way she looked reminded me of an owl, cuz her eyes were all big. Then I drifted off to sleep and the hook o' this song came to me. Given the weird dream-like-ness of the lyrics, it took some doin' to figure out what the rest o' this song was about. It turned out to be about a person in a creepy-ass place, who sees bad things a-comin'. But nobody really pays attention to her, cuz they're all oblivious. It's sorta a Cassandra-themed song.The lyrics are:
