Trouble Singing Fearfat

This is the next backwards song. Geez, man, I'm barely keeping up with this cuz I recorded this one last week. Historically, in order to manage my anxiety, I'll have recorded songs, like, a month or so ahead of having to post them. Then I know I won't fall behind in my blogging-poops. But I've been lagging. 2018 is Lagging-Year.

In any event, some of the highlights of this song are things like "N(g)ivrifornia," "Dastifornia," and "Spastifornia." That's a special treat, if you're listening to this here song, while residing in California.

Why Did They

This is the song where Corky gets real sad because Verdell and Mogie are dead. I mean, they're both in Heaven with him, but he wanted them alive so they could get the message to his mom that he's alright. I like how this one turned out.

Here's last week's song, when you turn it around backwards.

I wanted to put this one on, as well. See, this is "Why Did They" turned around backwards using Audacity (a sound editing program). I wanted to include it because it's extra-special magical sounding. The one I recorded last week didn't have as much syncopation as this one.

For anyone new to this blog, the album I'm discussing is based on the movie, Skins. (Spoiler Alert)... It follows this character, Corky Red Tail, into the afterlife cuz he gets murdered in the beginning of the movie. Then he's joined by Mogie and Verdell, who both die of alcoholism in one way or another. The three of them work together to try to get a message to Corky's mom that he's okay in the afterlife. The most likeliest candidate to do that is Rudy, Mogie's brother, because all three of them knew Rudy when they were alive, so they're all connected to him in one way or another.

Everyone Stop

This is another one of those backwards songs. My impression, when listening to it, is that it sounds like it should be the song at the end of a movie. You know, those songs you hear when the closing credits are rolling? That's what this song sounds like to me. It's one of those sad songs; it's sad because you're saying goodbye to the movie you just watched.

The dudes in the picture are Timmy and Bobby. They show up in a couple graphic novels I wrote. There's also a whole series of Timmy and Bobby songs that I posted back in 2009.

Stop The Wind From Blowing Through (Mogie's Death Song)

In this song, Mogie has just died and when he gets to Heaven, he sees Verdell and Corky. He decides to sing his death song in order to announce his presence. The death song is actually the main theme from the album I did back in 2015 (geez, I need to post the rest of that thing, at some point).
